Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey is inspired by the incredible history of the first African-American master distiller on record in the US, and the man who (legend has it) taught Jack Daniels how to make Tennessee Whiskey—Nathan "Nearest" Green. Clever has honored that legacy with a brand identity system and packaging that pays homage to Uncle Nearest, the greatest whiskey maker history never knew.
